This is a little FAQ to explain the variables in the config file. The reason why I am seperating the explanations from the config, is to keep the config cleaner for the human eye to prevent an oversight by accident.

Hotkeys:

Press "ctrl-alt-p" to pause the script. This hotkey only works in the "spam" and "idle" Mode.

Press "ctrl-alt-q" to quit the script regularly. I advise quitting the script always using this hotkey and not in the taskbar. The script will restore everything to the state before starting the script, when quitting regularly.

[settings]

Variable: realm
Description: Set this Variable to "Europe", "USEast", "USWest" or "ASIA"

Variable: diablo_version
Description: Enter the DiabloII version you are using. Enter either "lod" or "classic".

Variable: load_delay (The time is in miliseconds, i.e. 1 second = 1000 miliseconds!!!)
Description: This value determines how long you want the script to wait for Diablo II to load before starting the actual processes. Play around with it until you figured out the right delay for you.

Variable: directory
Description: Enter the Directory where DiabloII is located here. Don't use a slash at the end of the directory. Example: C:\Games\Diablo II

Variable: application_name
Description: Name of your DiabloII application. In most cases it will be: Diablo II.exe

Variable: mode
Description: This is where you set the mode for the script. There are 3 modes: 'spam', 'refresh' and 'idle'. All of the modes use the settings of the [main] section (where you enter your accounts, etc). If the mode is in the 'spam' mode, it will only use the variables set in the [spam] section. The same for the other modes.

[main]

Variable: total_accounts
Description: This Variable tells the script how many accounts its supposed to enter. If you have 15 Accounts you want the script to enter, the 15th account should be the variable account15. The script asumes the first account will be the variable account1 and so on..

Variable: Account1, 2, 3..
Description: This is where you enter the Accountname you want the script to join. The script joins the account with the lowest number first, then works its way up. Account1 will be chosen before Account2 etc.

Variable: Password1, 2, 3..
Description: This is where you enter the Passwords to the Accounts. Password1 will be the Password for Account1 and so on..

****************************************
Variable: Start1, 2, 3..
Description: This variable determines what Slot the script is supposed to start with. (usually, this would be 1)

Variable: Stop1, 2, 3..
Description: This variable determines what Slot you want the script to end at. (usually, this would be 8)

Numeration for the slots in LOD:
1 2
3 4
5 6
7 8

Numeration for the slots in Classic:
1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8

[refresh]
Variable: delay_lobby (The time is in miliseconds, i.e. 1 second = 1000 miliseconds!!!)
Description: This determines the time you want each charakter to "wait" in the lobby (only used if you don't use the "perm-chars" feature, but rather reset the 10 day-counter)

[idle]
Variable: games_min
Description: This determines how many MINUTES (not milliseconds!) you want to stay in a game before joining the next. (only enabled when join_games is set to "yes")

Variable: games_total
Description: This determines how many games you want to join before choosing the next charakter. (only enabled when join_games is set to "yes")

[spam_channels]

Variable: spam_msg1 & spam_msg2
Description: Enter your spam message in both of those variables. If you want to spam the same message, fill out both with the same message. Note: type /me before your message to reach the same effect as pressing the emote button

Variable: away_msg
Description: Set your away message here.

Variable: min_people
Description: Set this value to the number of players you want to be in a channel before spamming! If the number of people are not present in the channel, the bot quickly joins the next channel.

Variable: max_wait & min_wait
Description: These are the 2 time values you want the script to wait before it joins the next channel. It will choose a random value between the two. I advise to you 20 Seconds (it will work for hours then), but if you just want to spam for 15-30 Minutes, set it to 15. It should work fine for a short period then, but probably get you kicked sooner or later.

Variable: spam_total
Description: This variable determines how many times you want to spam your messages.

Variable: channels_total
Description: This variable determines how many channels you have filled out.

Variable: channel1, channel2, etc..
Description: Enter the channels you want to join here, i.e. LOD Trading Europe-1 etc

[spam_games]

*IMPORTANT NOTE*

If you use spam_games I STRONGLY ADVISE you to pick up ANY item with your Spamming-Character and KEEP THE ITEM ON THE CURSOR, that way you can NOT be asked "for trade" by other players (which happens quite often). If you are asked for trade there is a HIGH chance to screw the script up. The in-game spambot worked SUPERB for me with my character equipping an Item (on the cursor) and setting my msgdelay to 60000 (60 seconds). If you create too many games, too quickly, you will get failed login eventually.

Variable: gameload_delay
Description: This variable determines how long you want the script to wait after trying to join a game before spamming.

Variable: msg_delay
Description: This is the delay, you want the script to wait between the "message-blocks" you spam in-game. if you spam your message-block only once per game, this will be the delay before leaving the game.

Variable: msglogkey
Description: This is the key you have assigned your "message-log" in Diablo II. The bot will activate the message-log while in-game to prevent being asked by other users to "trade".

Variable: choose_list
Description: This is the value, that the script will use as the maximum value of a random number picked between 1 and this variable. The result of this random number, will be the game you will choose in the "choose-game-list" inside of Diablo II.

Variable: join_games
Description: This determines how many games you want to join in total, to spam.

Variable: repeat_msg
Description: This determines how often you want to spam your "message-block" inside a game.

Variable: total_msg
Description: This value determines how many "message-lines" you want to use. It refers to game_msg1, game_msg2 etc.

Variable: game_msg1, game_msg2, etc..
Description: If you want to spam a message in 3 lines, type the first line into game_msg1, the second line into game_msg2 and so on. I advise not to use more then 125 characters for each line or the rest will be cut off. Check out the sample I have in the Config.

[internal_variables]

*THESE VARIABLES ARE USED FOR THE LOGFILES, ERRORLOG AND THE "EXPIRED CHARACTER" CHECK*
*IT IS NOT ADVISED TO CHANGE THESE VARIABLES*
